About Us

Club Objectives:
The Broadway Club is a private members club that caters for 400 members and their families. The aim of the club is to bring together people from all walks of life to enjoy a social environment of relaxation away from the pressures of modern-day living.

The club is run by a democratically-voted committee whose members give up their free time to ensure that the club is kept to a high standard that is expected for all members and staff. Committee members are available to hear any concerns and suggestions on the club’s well-being from any current member.

New memberships are decided at the beginning of February each year and the number of new members is restricted by how many places have become available from the previous year. New members must be proposed by existing members and seconded by a committee member.

If you aren’t familiar with the club or, for example, have recently moved into the area, contact us to arrange a visit and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Club History

The origins of the club date back to the early 1900s on the Broadway Parade in Kings Road, Fleet. As the club’s stature grew new premises were required and in 1935 the club moved to its current location in Albert Street.
From 1969 work began to improve the clubhouse and its amenities. Improvements carried out during the past 40 years both internally and externally have created the club we enjoy today.
